In Starfield, there are different factions you can join, each with control over its own territory. If you commit a crime or contraband, you could end up with a bounty in that specific area. To resolve this issue, simply locate a kiosk outside the affected region and address it by paying a fee. Alternatively, for those who prefer quick solutions, you can use a simple console command to remove bounties.
To use this command, it is necessary to know the ID of the faction that has applied the bounty to you. In the following list, you can check the names and IDs of all the factions in Starfield.
List of all Starfield factions, with their corresponding IDs. Make use of the following faction IDs when executing the command to clear or pay off bounties.
The recommended way to pay off bounties is simply by visiting one of the Bounty Clearance Kiosks scattered throughout the Starfield universe. You can find these kiosks in New Atalantis, Cydonia, Neon, Hopetown, Akila City, among many other locations, and you can even build your own Bounty Clearance Kiosk at your outpost.
If you're a player who doesn't mind using commands, you can use the console command provided below, though it comes with the drawback of disabling achievements.
Cydonia Kiosk
If you want to use console commands (it disables achievements), then find the ID of the faction that has applied the bounty, to pay off that bounty, what you need to do is open the console using the [~] key and enter the following command:
**IMPORTANT**Keep in mind that doing this will disable achievements, so it's not recommended, proceed only if you are sure**
player.paycrimegold 0 0 [Faction ID]
This command will get rid of the bounty; however, remember that using a console command for this purpose will disable achievements.
