Satisfactory Chainsaw - How to Use Chainsaw in Satisfactory

You have just started your game of Satisfactory and want to begin extracting resources. However, for this, you need energy. You do not yet have access to coal power, so you must consider other ways of obtaining energy, a biomass burner.

The biomass burner consumes leaves or wood to produce energy. You can collect leaves from the ground, however, using a chainsaw will allow you to obtain them much more easily, as well as being able to obtain wood.

In order to use the chainsaw, you will need to have solid biofuel in your inventory. You can obtain it by crafting it at the craft bench, using 8 units of biomass. Similarly, biomass can be obtained from leaves and wood.

One of the main advantages of using the chainsaw is the ability to collect leaves at a faster rate. Additionally, it also allows for the collection of wooden logs, which can be crafted into biomass in larger quantities.

Crafting a chainsaw requires 5 reinforced iron plates, 25 iron rods, 160 screws, and 15 cables. Note that in order to use it, you need to unlock the tier II "Obstacle Clearing".

Once you have crafted the chainsaw, open your inventory by pressing the tab key and place the chainsaw in one of the hand slots. Then, once you have it in your hand, right-click on any tree or bush to use it. It is very important to have solid biofuel in your inventory. Otherwise, you will not be able to use it.
