Deepslate and all blocks crafted with it are truly versatile when it comes to building. You can create incredible floor patterns and gradients that blend seamlessly into the walls of structures.
The most commonly used gradient with deepslate allows for a smooth transition between dark stone blocks (deepslate) and much lighter stone blocks (stone and stone brick). This gradient is perfect for use in the walls of your houses and structures, especially at the base.
It looks particularly good when used at the base of walls that are in contact with water, as they give the impression of being wet.
To create the gradient, you should use cobbled deepslate, smooth basalt, basalt, tuff, cobblestone, stone, and stone bricks, arranged as follows:
Deepslate to Stone Gradient
With deepslate, you can also create incredible floor patterns. The first pattern involves alternating the top side of a basalt block with cobbled deepslate<รง.
Floor Pattern
The second pattern can be created using polished deepslate alongside deepslate tiles. Remember, you can combine any blocks to create your own floor design!
