Currently, it's not possible to craft or obtain signs in Enshrouded. This can be a problem when arranging chests, especially during multiplayer games. That's why the community has expressed a strong interest in this feature to improve organization and communication in the game.
Some of the suggestions from players include customizable signs with various text and color options, enabling different fonts, colors, and materials. These signs would have practical uses such as labeling chests, houses, map locations, workshops, and crafting stations.
Use different blocks:
You can get creative with how you label chests. Try putting them on different blocks that match what's inside. This helps you quickly spot the right chest when you need something.
Blocks
For instance, putting a chest on a stone block could mean it has valuable stuff like minerals. Using a wood block might suggest it's for crafting materials or tools. This trick makes it easier to keep your stuff organized.
Use decorative objects.
You can mark and identify the contents of chests in Enshrouded by placing decorative objects on top of them. Choose different items and put them in specific spots to show what's inside each chest.
Decorative Objects
For example, if you place metal object like a cup on top of a chest, it could mean there are metal weapons or equipment inside. Or if you put a plant or flower on it, it might indicate healing items or consumables.
You can use these tips to deal with the lack of signs in Enshrouded. It's a temporary fix until signs are officially added to the game, but it works.
