How to get Metal Scraps in Enshrouded - Farming Locations

Metal scraps are one of the basic crafting materials in Enshrouded. They allow you to craft a variety of early objects such as screws, equipment, and the grappling hook. They are also essential in most of the Blacksmith's recipes.

The most effective way to obtain metal scraps is by defeating enemies, specifically scavengers. These enemies typically drop metal scraps upon defeat. But where can you find these enemies? Keep in mind that they are always located outside the Shroud and are often concentrated in camps and ruins scattered throughout the map.

Some places where you can find abundant metal scraps near the beginning of your game are:

Braelyn Bridge:

The closest place where you can find metal scraps is the 'Braelyn Bridge'. On the other side of the bridge, there is a scavenger, but be careful when approaching, as it can attack you from a distance. You can cross the bridge using a grappling hook, or you can go underneath through the Shroud.

Ancient Vault - Blacksmith:

After crossing the bridge, another location where you can find metal scraps is in the Ancient Vault. There you'll encounter 3 Scavengers and plenty of objects that you can destroy to obtain metal scrap.

House Ruins:

If you've unlocked the grappling hook, before crossing the bridge, head west. There you'll find an area that you can climb up to reach a house in ruins. In this house, you'll find chests and objects with metal scrap, as well as a scavenger and its wolf.

Rookmore:

The last location near the spawn is a vast area filled with scavengers. To reach it, you must go down the path that passes under the Braelyn Bridge, heading into the Shroud and going west. Be careful, as this location has a lot of enemies.

You can also obtain metal scraps from objects. If you head to the location where you start the game, the Cinder Vault, or to the Ancient Vault where the blacksmith is unlocked, you'll find some huge metal pods.

You can destroy them using a pickaxe, although they have a lot of health points. When you destroy them, they will provide you with 3 metal scraps.
