Does Wreckfest support cross-generation play on PlayStation and Xbox consoles?
Cross-platform play in Wreckfest is currently limited to PC players, regardless of their purchase platform, whether it's Steam, Xbox Game Pass, or Epic Games Store.
Unfortunately, crossplay is not supported between PC and console users or different consoles, meaning players on PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, Android, and iOS platforms cannot interact in a multiplayer setting.
Wreckfest offers cross-generation compatibility within PlayStation and Xbox ecosystems, allowing players on PS4 to connect with those on PS5, and likewise for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S users.
However, crossplay between PlayStation and Xbox platforms is not supported due to separate server infrastructures.
While players within the same ecosystem can interact, cross-platform play across different ecosystems is not possible.
