Dying Light 2 Synopsis
Dying Light 2 Stay Human is an action-adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies. Players use parkour and weapons to survive in a large open-world environment where their choices impact the game's outcome.
Dying Light 2 does have a multiplayer feature, which allows up to 4 players to play.
Even though it lacks cross-platform functionality, players can enjoy multiplayer gaming sessions with their friends on the same platform.
Dying Light 2 does not allow cross-play between PC and console players.
Gamers can only interact with players on their respective platforms, meaning that PC gamers cannot play in the same session as those on Xbox or PlayStation.
Dying Light 2 does offer cross-play within the same family of consoles, meaning players on an Xbox One can play with those on Xbox Series S/X, and likewise, those on a PlayStation 4 can do so with PlayStation 5 users.
Although Dying Light 2 does not support cross-platform gameplay, the game does allow for cross-gen saving.
This means if you switch console generations within the same family - say, from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 - you can continue your game progress on the new console.
